About Brookside Farm
Brookside Farm is located just outside the Austin, TX city limits in Manor, TX. We provide compassionate, long-term residential care for adults living with depression, bipolar disorder, severe paranoia, schizophrenia, intellectual and development disabilities (IDD), traumatic brain injury (TBI) and autism. Founded in 1997 by Nina Morrison on the core principles of community integration and quality of life, our facility treats each resident as a unique person. We see to it that they maintain as much autonomy and enjoyment of life as possible according to their individual abilities.
With over 40 years of experience, we take pride in facilitating the development of results-oriented, long-term treatment programs for our residents. In fact, some of these individuals have been under our care for more than 30 years. The manageable size of our facility and the relatively low number of residents allow us to provide individualized and personal services.
